While we’ve created recipes for some slightly unusual pairings before—pickle sushi, we’re looking at you—this delicious mashup of jalapeño popper and Buffalo chicken is one we’ve been longing for all along. In fact, you could say it’s a really big dill.

Imagine the briny, zesty flavor and crisp snap of a delicious dill pickle loaded with your favorite Buffalo chicken dip and bubbling with gooey cheese. Yeah, that’s a combo destined for success. Inspired by the cheeseburger pickle popper trend, we teamed up with Van Holten’s pickles and brought in creamy, classic Primal Kitchen Mayo with Avocado Oil to tame the cayenne kick of chicken smothered in our medium-heat Buffalo Sauce. This easy appetizer is perfect for tailgate parties, nighttime snacking, or a lower-carb lunch.
