Mashed Potato Chips

Between scrubbing the taters, removing any creepy little eyes, peeling, chopping boiling, mashing, and adding some semblance of actual flavor, making mashed potatoes from scratch is a LOT of work. Instead, skip the laborious process and kick back after whipping up a batch of these delicious “cheater” mashed potatoes made with potato chips! (We used crinkle-cut ones from The Good Crisp Company.)
Inspired by the viral TikTok trend — and our hatred of flimsy potato peelers — this no-fuss recipe needs just a few simple ingredients, including our creamy, no-dairy Ranch Dressing. The end result is a batch of velvety mashed potatoes that tastes as good as the real thing.

Looking for a lazy girl side dish? Make quick and easy mashed potatoes with a bag of chips, no peeling required! Our twist on the viral mashed potato chips recipe uses The Good Crisp Company chips for a guilt-free bite and no-dairy Primal Kitchen Ranch Dressing for a pop of cool, creamy flavor.
Ingredients
1 bag potato chips (we used The Good Crisp Company Original Crinkle Cut)

2 tablespoons Primal Kitchen Ranch Dressing
Salt and pepper
Pinch of chives, finely chopped (optional)
Directions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add one bag of Good Crisp Original Chips and let cook for about 5 minutes.
Once cooked, drain the chips and transfer them to a food processor.
Pour the ranch dressing in. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Pulse the mixture until you reach your preferred texture. If desired, top with more ranch dressing or sprinkle with chives. Serve and enjoy!
