Get ready for the creamiest cheese sandwich you’ve ever tasted! If you’re not already familiar with burrata, it’s basically a fresh mozzarella cheese ball (the kind you find floating in tubs of water at the grocery store) stuffed with velvety cream. On the outside, it looks sturdy but soft. Cut in and you’re rewarded with a smooth, dreamy center that has all the elegance of a fancy spread. 

Burrata is often found on charcuterie plates or paired with tomato slices as an elegant appetizer. Thanks to a viral social trend, burrata has found a new home on top of crisp, chewy bread as the ultimate creamy filling for a sandwich.

We paired it with classic Italian flavors like fresh Roma tomatoes and tangy Balsamic Dressing for a sandwich that brings the best of a caprese salad. To give it even more richness, and also to stop any moisture from the cheese seeping into the bread, we tucked in a layer of our creamy Mayo with Avocado Oil. Ready to dig in?
