Made with our Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce, tender pre-cooked shredded chicken, and pillowy gnocchi, this one-pot Marry Me Chicken Soup delivers rich, comforting flavors in every bite. Perfect for a cozy night in and ready in about 20 minutes, it’s a soup so good you just might fall in love.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Primal Kitchen Pure Avocado Oil
- ½ medium onion, diced
- 4 celery stalks, diced
- 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

1 jar Primal Kitchen Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce
- 3 cups chopped kale
- 8 ounces gluten-free gnocchi
- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Directions
Heat the avocado oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and sundried tomatoes. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the kale and let it simmer for about 2 minutes until tender.
- Add the gluten-free gnocchi and chicken to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the gnocchi floats to the top and is tender.
- Season with black pepper to taste.
- Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve immediately.
Recipe Note
- Nutritional information estimated using Cronometer.
- Crock Pot Directions: Add all ingredients except for the gnocchi and kale. Cook on low for 3-4 hours. In the last 30 minutes, add the gnocchi and kale and cook until the gnocchi is tender.
- To maximize flavor and minimize waste, swirl the remaining chicken broth in the pasta sauce jar, secure the lid, shake it, and pour the mixture into the pot.
- For added texture and flavor, top with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese or a drizzle of olive oil.

Our Marry Me Chicken Soup puts a warm, soothing twist on the partner-pleasing pasta that took social media by storm. We took a shortcut from all the prep work by using Primal Kitchen Sundried Tomato Pasta Sauce and pre-cooked shredded rotisserie chicken, but you can also cook up chicken breasts or use leftovers to make yours. Same with the gluten-free gnocchi; store-bought is fine unless you want to overachieve with homemade. Either way, this Marry Me Soup is destined to be your new cold-weather comfort meal.
