Ingredients
12 oz dark chocolate (85% or higher)
2 candy canes (we used Yum Earth)
¼ tsp peppermint extract (optional)
Directions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Break candy canes into pieces and place in a food processor. Pulse until crushed.
Melt chocolate in a double-boiler or microwave. If using the microwave, cook in 15-30-second intervals, stirring in-between.
Once melted, add the collagen. Stir until combined. Add peppermint extract a few drops at a time, to taste (optional).
Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and use a spatula to spread it into a thin layer. Sprinkle with the crushed candy canes.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 5-7 minutes until it hardens.
Break into pieces. Serve and enjoy!
