Dumplings are one of our favorite comfort foods. Maybe it’s the petite size, the scrumptious filling, or the way they can go from easy appetizer to soup component. But here at Primal Kitchen, we’re always thinking of new ways to tip the balance on our plates toward more protein and veggies and less processed starch. So when these delicious pork and cabbage dumplings went viral, we couldn’t believe our luck. 

Our twist on this TikTok trend takes even more care to fit into a lower-carb or clean-eating lifestyle. Ground pork and shredded carrots are combined with our savory-sweet Teriyaki Sauce and fragrant aromatics like ginger and garlic for a hearty filling that gives restaurant vibes minus the soy, cane sugar, or artificial sweeteners. The usual wonton skin wrapper is replaced with lightly boiled cabbage leaves, and our thicker Honey Teriyaki adds a sweet finish.
