Air Fryer Potato Chips

There's something inherently decadent about potato chips. Maybe it's their perfect crispy crunch or how they're typically fried in vats of oil, but potato chips feel like a naughty treat. These delicate, beautifully crisp homemade potato chips made in the air fryer have the same crunch factor and crave-worthy, salty flavor but without the guilt.
Because they're air-fried with just a touch of Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Spray, these potato chips are less greasy than their store-bought counterparts and contain good fats from plant-based oils. Munch on them solo or pair them with our no-dairy Ranch Dip for a savory game-day snack that guests will love.

Thin and crispy with the perfect snacking crunch, these homemade potato chips are made in the air fryer for a better alternative to traditional store-bought chips. Dip and dunk 'em in creamy, no-dairy Primal Kitchen Ranch Dip.
Ingredients
- 7 medium-sized Russet potatoes, scrubbed and unpeeled
- 2 quarts ice water
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper

1 Tbsp. Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil

Primal Kitchen Ranch Dip, optional
Directions
Use a mandolin, metal cheese slicer, or sharp knife to slice potatoes into uniformly thin slices.
- Place potato slices in a large bowl with 2 teaspoons salt and ice water. Soak for 30 minutes.
- Drain potatoes. Place potato slices on clean kitchen towels to dry completely.
Preheat the Air Fryer to 360ºF.
Season the potato chips with Avocado Oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic.
Spray the air fryer basket with Avocado Oil Spray. Place potato slices in a single layer in the basket.
Cook until crisp and golden, about 15–17 minutes, turning the potato chips every 6–7 minutes. Continue cooking the chips in batches until done. Serve with Ranch Dip and enjoy!

Honeyed Herb Potato Chips: Drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup on top of the chips, along with a generous sprinkle of coarse sea salt and chopped fresh rosemary or chives.
