We upgraded this viral TikTok recipe with gluten-free pasta and Primal Kitchen Arrabbiata Marinara as a spicy dip.
Ingredients
8 oz. gluten-free pasta of choice (we used brown rice pasta)
-
1 Tbsp. Primal Kitchen Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3/4 cup grated parmigiana reggiano or pecorino romano
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
pinch of salt and pepper; red pepper flakes, to garnish
-
Primal Kitchen Marinara (we used the Arrabbiata Sauce)
Directions
Cook your pasta according to the package directions. Strain the pasta and place into a bowl and allow to cool.
Toss the pasta in the olive oil, cheese, and seasoning. Spray your air fryer rack with avocado oil spray.
Place the pasta on your air fryer rack and place in the air fryer. Set the temperature to 375 and the timer for 10 minutes.
Halfway through the air frying time, gently shake or move the pasta around the rack.
Check the pasta after 10 minutes to see if they are done. If not, set the timer for an additional 2-5 minutes to finish their cooking.
When finished, top with more cheese or red pepper flakes if you’d like, and serve with the marinara sauce.

What Are Pasta Chips?
Pasta chips hit the savory food scene via TikTok, and it seemed like everyone was giving this too-good-to-be-true treat a try. Al dente and delicious, these crunchy “chips” are tossed in parmesan and oil before they’re air-fried or baked to perfection.
How to Make Pasta Chips
Hitting the cooking time just right can make or break this recipe. Your cook time will vary based on your model of air fryer and the pasta you use. Air fryers with plastic inserts may need a slightly longer cook time, and flat pasta like farfalle might need a shorter cook time.
No Air Fryer? Here’s A Baked Pasta Chips Recipe
Make these pasta chips in your oven by placing them on a sheet pan, spreading each piece of pasta out, and cooking for approximately 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Dips for Pasta Chips
What’s a chip without a dip? Using red pasta sauce for chips, you can dress your pasta chips up with a suitably spicy sauce like Primal Kitchen Arrabbiata Marinara, or go more classic with Tomato Basil or Roasted Garlic. For a creamier take, try No-Dairy Alfredo or leftover White Pizza Sauce!
